Professor Michael Wilson is the Faculty Director of Entrepreneurship programs in the Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami. Engineering students learned about pitching, generating ideas, and making an idea marketable. The activity was to work in groups to generate an idea using only a strawberry and a straw as objects. Students collaborated on ideas and later presented them to practice their pitching. Some students even combined their groups together to create a stronger product!
