Today the NSLC medicine and health care students at Georgia Tech visited MedShare for their community service project. MedShare is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare and the environment through the efficient recovery and redistribution of the surplus of medical supplies and equipment to those most in need. The students packaged 4,517 lbs. of medical surplus material in 396 boxes today that will be shipped to third world countries.
